Occupational therapies for controlling involuntary movements. Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) Clinical aspects and therapeutic management of ALS. Occupational interventions to improve quality of life. Guillain-Barré Syndrome Evaluation and treatment of acute and chronic phases. Therapeutic approaches for functional recovery. Focal Neuropathies Diagnosis and treatment of focal neuropathies (e.g., carpal tunnel syndrome). Occupational techniques for pain management and manual functionality.
Prerequisites
• Basic knowledge of the physiology and anatomy of the nervous system. • Completion of introductory courses in occupational therapy.
