• Anamnesis and physical examination suitable for the nursing profession. • Interpretation of the main laboratory tests. • Epidemiology, physiopathology, instrumental semiotics, clinical, prevention, pharmacological treatment and care planning for the following pathologies: respiratory system: chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, pneumonia, tuberculosis, bronchial asthma, bronchectasis, pulmonary emphysema, lung tumors, cardiovascular: ischemic cardiomyopathy; angina pectoris, acute myocardial infarction; arrhythmias; hypertension; heart failure, interventional procedures, invasive coronary procedures, gastrointestinal: diseases of the esophagus, stomach and duodenum, esophagitis, gastroesophageal reflux disease and hiatal hernia, gastritis and peptic ulcer, diseases of the small intestine and colon, chronic intestinal inflammatory disease; malabsorption syndromes, irritable colon; diseases of the liver and biliary tract, hepatic and biliary cirrhosis, biliary calculosis; pancreatic diseases, acute pancreatitis; chronic pancreatitis; anemia. • Nursing care process for the person subjected to ileostomy and colonstomy. • Nursing care process for the patient in artificial nutrition. • Frail elderly: the socio-cultural and bio-physiological dimension of aging; Data collection for the elderly and assessment tools; Identification of nursing care needs prevalent in older people; Accidental falls; nursing care process for dementia patients • Principles of pharmacology applied to the treatment of the main pathologies treated in the course.
