• Types of questions: therapy, diagnosis, prognosis, prevention, patient safety.
Searching for Evidence
• Overview of major databases: PubMed, CINAHL, Cochrane Library, Scopus.
• Advanced search strategies: keywords, Boolean operators, filters.
Critical Appraisal of Articles
• Types of studies: RCTs, observational studies, systematic reviews.
• Appraisal tools: CASP, AMSTAR.
• Discussion of study reliability, internal and external validity, and methodological quality.
Application of Evidence and Outcome Monitoring
