Course program
The course aims to introduce students to the critical reading of texts dating back to the post- unification period and the first half of the 20th century that are considered particularly significant in the field of pedagogical writing. To this end, essays, novels, plays and newspaper articles in which the educational theme plays a predominant role will be taken into consideration and will be examined in light of the historical-literary context of reference. In order to encourage reflection on the possible didactic application of the proposed contents, during the laboratory lessons students will develop UDA starting from literary texts, even in small groups. At the end of the course, students must have full mastery of the period examined and have acquired the tools to move between multiple literary genres, demonstrating that they know how to critically read the analyzed texts.
