Primary teacher education

This module retraces the main stages in the history of Western music, highlighting their socio-cultural and artistic connections. After providing an essential glossary of musical grammar elements, the lectures will offer a series of representative listening activities from the European art music tradition, with occasional excursions into oral and popular repertoires. This path is designed to approach musical listening from a pedagogical perspective, as a valuable tool to enhance musical experience in the school context. Twelve hours (1 ECTS) are devoted to laboratory activities, which are mandatory for all students.
