Course objectives

The course aims to provide knowledge regarding infectious disease in its etiological aspects, clinical, diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.Objectives are:To know the areas of intervention of preventive medicine and public health in relation to the prevention of infectious diseases.To know the pathophysiology of infectious diseasesTo identify areas of application in the identification of health needs and planning of preventive interventionsTo know some strategies of infectious disease control and prevention, with particular regard to the role of the nurse.
