DISEGNO TECNICO E AUTOMATICO

Course objectives

TECHNICAL DRAWING AND COMPUTER-AIDED DESIGNThe aim of this Course is to teach students to interpret, analyse and understand architecture from various points of view, primarily through the use of longstanding graphical Analysis, with the support of theoretical Methods of Representation and practical Computer-Aided Design. The Course aims to develop the students' critical skills, according to a step-by-step approach based on “observation”, interpretation, comprehension and representation of Architecture, through the analysis of several well-known already built examples. This objective will be achieved through a process in three key stages: Methods of Representation, Computer-Aided Design and Architectural Analysis. These three aspects, formally separated here but all part of a single process, and which interact with and refer to each other, will constitute the backbone of the Course, which also includes theoretical and practical lesso.
