The asset management industry :- the structure of the Italy market asset management and the role of financial advisory; - the development of the asset management industry; -the development of th regulatory framework; - the main financial instruments of asset management: contractual characteristics, risk-return profile; - Collective asset managers and other non-bank financial intermediaries - Asset management companies (SGR) - Investment companies with variable capital (SICAV)- Brokerage firms (SIM); Harmonized open-end investment funds: actively managed funds, passively managed or index funds - ETFs: characteristics, functioning, risk-return profile- Alternative investment funds: closed-end financial AIFs, closed-end real estate AIFs, closed-end ELTIFs and reserved hedge fund AIF; c) Portfolio management and performance evaluation also ESG oriented

Exam mode
The written exam consists of 18 questions: 3 multiple-choice questions, 3 open questions on the basic knowledge of the course, and 6 exercises to be completed in a manner similar to the practice exercises carried out during the course. Maximum time available: 2 hours. The oral exam will complete the assessment of knowledge.
