Course objectives

Knowledge and understanding: students will be able to learn theoretical and practical elements to manage the supply chain, which can be adopted within the complex industrial organizations. Applying knowledge and understanding: students will be able to apply the cited documents. Making judgement: students will develop interpretative and decision-making skills related to business management. Communication skills: students will develop communication skills. Learning skills: students will be able to learn experimental innovations in the business sector.

The topics covered and explored in depth, including through case studies, are divided into the following modules:  The conceptual framework of the production system.  Product design.  Production planning.  The pursuit of efficiency in determining production capacity.  Measuring supply chain performance.  Choosing the technological structure.  Reducing time and improving quality.  Choosing between vertical integration and outsourcing.  Risk management.  Supply chain finance.
