Course objectives
To recognize the presence of a liver disease, to know the main pathogenetic mechanisms, to correctly identify the causes and how stage the disease. To introduce students to the proper clinical approach to the patients with gastrointestinal diseases, based on clinical and technical issues. Clinical approach to the patient with diarrhea. Pathophysiological mechanisms of diarrhea. Diagnosis and treatment.
