altered deglutition and esophageal diseases (Dysphagia, Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease, Motor Alterations, Achalasia)
Gastroduodenal Diseases (Helicobacter pylori infection, Acute and Chronic gastritis and gastropathies, Peptic ulcer, Gastric tumors)
Intestinal Diseases (Maldigestion and malabsorption, Celiac Disease, Inflammatory Bowel Diseases, Diverticular Disease, Rectocolonic tumors)
Functional Gastrointestinal Diseases (Dyspepsia, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Constipation, Diarrhea)
Anorectal Diseases
Practical activities will focus on paracentesis, differential diagnosis of jaundice with discussion of clinical cases, clinical interpretation of liver laboratory test results, rectal examination and insertion of naso-duodenal tube.

Requirements:
Students must have a good knowledge of basic Anatomy, Physiology and Genetics. Frontal lessons are mandatory

Written test with multiple choice quizzes and oral exam.
The objective of the oral test will be to evaluate the student's level of learning and ability for independent clinical reasoning.
