Degree Programme Board activities
As part of its employment support strategy, the ICI Faculty organises activities dedicated to placement and to strengthening professional awareness. In coordination with the University, it participates in Career Days and is part of the Placement Coordination Group. Through the FIGI Project – Faculty of Engineering and Large Enterprises, the Faculty organises consolidated formats such as “A cocktail with…” (meetings with prominent figures from the business sector), “Knowing how to be and how to do” (professional orientation workshops and simulations), and “An afternoon with…” (company presentations followed by direct dialogue with students). These activities are complemented by thematic workshops and meetings with mentors, including professionals from fields not strictly related to engineering (“Ingegneria incontra”).
Students can also benefit from the contacts and collaborations that academic staff maintain with companies and organisations operating in the fields of Civil, Building and Environmental Engineering, facilitating their access to the labour market.
Continuous relations with local stakeholders further contribute to maintaining this channel active, allowing graduates to enter the professional world more easily and more quickly.
