Course objectives

The present exam can be registered by submitting the instructor a certificate proving the successful attendance of a university IT course, or submitting one’s ECDL certificate (base, standard or full standard). Those who are not in possession of any certificate should take a test with prof. Sterpetti, to be booked via Infostud. The exam will consist in written multi-choice test, prepared by the instructor, on the following topics: Introduction to IT; Networks and Security; Documents; Spreadsheets; Digital Presentations; Databases. The exam has 20 questions to be answered in 20 minutes. Each question has several choices. Exactly one choice is correct for each question. You need at least 16 correct answers to pass.

The IT skills assessment is reserved exclusively for students enrolled in the Philosophy degree program. A positive evaluation can be obtained by presenting the recording professor with a certificate attesting to the completion of a university IT course, or by presenting an ICDL certificate (basic, standard, or full standard) or an EIPASS certificate obtained within the last five years.
