Geographical Sciences and technologies for environment and health

The course deals with the problem of territorial and spatial analysis of demographic phenomena. First of all, the study of mobility and migration processes is presented, since in Demography it is a topic closely connected to the use of territorial variables. The course aims to introduce students to the use of tools for analysis and deepening of demographic issues related to space, and it intends to analyze territorial data for their synthesis and interpretation by introducing the student to spatial data processing techniques.
