Territory organization

Course objectives

The course is aimed at acquiring the theoretical and methodological tools related to the analysis of the territory. The territorial policies and the processes of the territorial planning. The main theories will be examined relating to organization and planning, relating the different aspects (economic, political, social, environmental), the different scales and analyzing the individual strategies. Moreover, some case studies will be addressed, able to represent and compare successes and failures. At the end of the course the student will be able to analyze, by means of appropriate theoretical-methodological tools, a series of data and information useful for the purposes of planning and territorial organization.
