ROMENIAN LITERATURE I
Course objectives
Knowledge of the literary history of the chosen fields in relation to periodization, cultural and ideological contexts, movements, writers, works or genres to initiate the student into a more careful reading of the literary text.

Course program
Introduction to modern Romanian linguistic, cultural and literary history
The course takes place over two semesters. It consists of a series of introductory lectures on modern Romanian linguistic, cultural and literary history (19th century) illustrated in relation to the contemporary European historical and cultural context, followed by a series of lectures dedicated to the literary forms and writing practices that became established during the 19th century.

Attendance is not compulsory. The syllabus and exam format are the same for attending and non-attending students. Non-attending students may agree on an individual syllabus.
Exam mode
Il corso prevede una prova orale volte a verificare la capacità espositiva degli argomenti trattati a lezione, integrati dalla bibliografia di supporto. La prova orale si svolge alla fine del II semestre. Il voto finale, in trentesimi, sarà registrato sulla piattaforma INFOSTUD.
