Fundamentals of medical sciences, such as microbiology, immunology, and pharmacology, to address infectious and metabolic complications during pregnancy. Competence in diagnostic imaging techniques (ultrasound, Doppler, advanced imaging) and fetal monitoring. Basic knowledge of genetics and fetal pathologies, including congenital malformations and genetic disorders.

Gynecology: benign ovarian pathology (ovarian cysts, endometriosis), benign uterine pathology (endometrial polyps, uterine fibroids), infectious pathologies (vaginitis, PID), hints of PMA, gynecological endocrinology (contraception, menopause, PCOS), gynecological emergencies, oncological gynecology (ovarian, uterine, vulvar cancer) Obstetrics: First trimester pathology (abortion, ectopic pregnancy, law 194), prenatal diagnosis, hypertensive disorders in pregnancy (preeclampsia), gestational diabetes, placental pathologies (placenta previa, placenta accreta), obstetric emergencies

Knowledge of anatomy and physiology of the female genital system, notes on endocrinology.

Changes in the duration of pregnancy: Threat of abortion, miscarriage, internal: complete and incomplete. Causes, diagnosis and medical and surgical therapy and its complications. Recurrent abortion: genetic factors, diagnostic and therapeutic protocol. Menopause: Definition, Epidemiology, etiopathogenesis, symptomatology, diagnosis and therapy. Students must already have knowledge of anatomy and pathophysiology of reproduction and have complied with the prerequisites required. Course attendance is mandatory

The lectures will be carried out in the classroom according to the calendar and the students will have available the material used during the lessons. Insights will be carried out through seminars and practical experiences during the attendance at the outpatient clinics and departments of the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics (ADP).
