Menopause: Definition, Epidemiology, etiopathogenesis, symptomatology, diagnosis and therapy. Hormone replacement therapy, risks and benefits, current therapeutic protocols.
Short, medium and long term alterations. Post-menopausal osteoporosis
Prerequisites
Students must already have knowledge of anatomy and pathophysiology of reproduction and have complied with the prerequisites required. Course attendance is mandatory

Teaching mode
The lectures will be carried out in the classroom according to the calendar and the students will have available the material used during the lessons. Insights will be carried out through seminars and practical experiences during the attendance at the outpatient clinics and departments of the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics (ADP).

The evaluation will be with an oral examination and is aimed at verifying of theoretical knowledge and effective understanding of the topics and clinical skills of the student. Attendance at lessons is mandatory and ADP will be taken into consideration
