Course program
1 Content of the course Main elements concerning the nosography and psychopathology of mental disorders. Protective and risk factors for the manifestation of symptoms, with particular reference to anxiety disorders, mood disorders, those of the schizophrenic spectrum, addictions, and disorders involving the use of nicotine, alcohol, and other substances. Clinical psychiatry and psychodynamic aspects of the following mental disorders: disorders of consciousness, anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive spectrum disorders, major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, stress-related disorders, dissociative disorders, somatoform disorders, schizophrenic spectrum disorders, eating disorders, and sleep disorders. Principles of suicidology, addictions, and substance use disorders. 2 Teaching methods Frontal teaching 3 Frequency Bi-weekly

1 Objective of the test Evaluation of the acquisition of knowledge and skills learned during the course. 2 Number of trials and timing The tests will follow the exam sessions established by the Faculty. 3 Type, duration, and method of administration The final exam will be in written form, consisting of multiple-choice questions. 4 Final evaluation The final evaluation will be based on the outcome of the written test with possible oral integration.
