1.4 Exemption from the exam - ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEACHING
Students who present a certificate equivalent to B1 or B2, in the case of bachelor's and master's degrees respectively, obtained in recent years and issued by an institution recognized by the Ministry, are exempt from taking the exams. Dr. Marinelli will share the list of these institutions on Classroom for the purposes of exemption.
For level B1 and level B2, required for bachelor's degrees, considering that many students obtain certification while attending high school, for the purposes of exemption, the document must have been obtained no more than:
3 years prior if language proficiency is required in the first year of the course of study;
4 years prior if language proficiency is required in the second year of the course of study;
5 years prior if language proficiency is required in the third year of the course of study.
For level B2, required for master's degrees, the equivalent certificate must have been obtained no more than:
4 years prior if language proficiency is required in the first year of the course of study;
5 years prior if language proficiency is required in the second year of the course of study.
If the student presents certificates of level C1 or higher, these documents do not have an expiration date.
