Ofa: methods of fulfilling additional training obligations
The simplest way to fulfill the additional educational requirements (OFA – Obblighi Formativi Aggiuntivi) for the degree course in International Economic and Financial Relations (L33) is to pass at least one of the first-year curricular exams (English Language, Quantitative Methods for Economics, Italian and European Public Law Institutions, Political Economy, Economic Statistics, Statistics).
Passing the curricular exam, once recorded on Infostud, automatically fulfills the additional educational requirement.
If this exam is not passed, students are advised to contact the Course President for information on the arrangements for taking the make-up assessments (test or oral exam) organized by the degree program.
Graduate
The final examination consists of the preparation and discussion of a written thesis, prepared with the assistance of one or more faculty advisors, addressing an in-depth analysis — including through empirical research — of issues covered during the course of study. The thesis must be produced in electronic format and must meet the requirements of a thesis-style work, complying with anti-plagiarism rules. Alongside the thesis, a presentation file must also be produced for use during the discussion. The examination is intended to train the student in independent research and in communication skills.

Activities of the Degree Program
The degree program has established an outgoing career guidance committee, which organizes dedicated meetings with second- and third-year students aimed at providing information on master's degree programs and suitable career paths, involving meetings with employers and stakeholders relevant to the professional prospects of the program's students.
In addition, the Department organizes the Employability Lab, a professional guidance path developed in collaboration with the Department of Psychology, to support newly graduated Sapienza students in their job search process. The program is structured in three consecutive steps to give an increasing number of graduates the opportunity for personal development. "What are my personal characteristics? What resources do I have? What do I like to do? What paths can I take to actively search for a job?" Starting to ask yourself these questions as soon as you graduate can help you better focus your efforts in the job search, using strategies tailored to your own professional plan. The Employability Lab activities are organized into three consecutive steps. Each participant is free to decide whether to stop after the first step, continue to the second, or complete the entire path through to the third step. Those who complete the full path will earn the "Employability Lab" Open Badge, which can be added to their CV and LinkedIn profile.
