Course objectives

to acquire knowledge of the sources and understanding of the contents of internal and international legislation for the protection of children and adolescents; to develop adequate skills in order to recognize the legal aspects of the various risk situations in which minors may find themselves involved; knowing how to distinguish and report useful data for the judgment and resolutive intervention of the concrete situation by the agencies appointed to ensure the full and harmonious development of the person's personality; to reach the level of knowledge necessary to access higher education.

Course program
The teaching concerns legislation to protect children and adolescents. More specifically, the matter involves the general contents of family law: legal rules, principles, categories, institutions responsible for protecting the minor, but also more detailed profiles, concerning the regulation of parenting, the relationship of filiation in all its dynamics, including inheritance law, and the social relations of the minor.
