THREE-DIMENSIONAL MODELING
Course objectives
Basic knowledge of the epidemiological, descriptive, analytical- experimental studies, association measures and risk assessment, screening tests, the national and regional guidelines, quality indicators. Acquiring the basic methodology of computerization in the medical and scientific field, know how to use popular search engines, access to databases, be able to find and interpret the best available evidence in the literature. By the end of the course, students must know: • the importance of Hygiene applied to health care for the prevention and the control of healthcare-associated infections By the end of the course, students must acquire knowledge and skills related to: • epidemiology and prevention of healthcare-associated infections By the end of the course, students must have acquire and know how to: • be able to carry out their professional in compliance with the principles for the prevention and control of healthcare-associated infections, as well as the health promotion. Acquire the basic methodology of computerization in the medical-scientific field and be able to use the most popular search engines, have access to databases, be able to find and know how to interpret the best evidence available in the literature. To know the identity of the epidemiological studies, descriptive, experimental analytical, measures of association and risk estimation, screening tests, national and regional guidelines, the quality indicators. In addition, the teaching aims the acquisition by the student of skill on the description of statistical data, understanding of the basic terms (population, sample variable ...), calculation and presentation of frequency distributions and their graphical representation, basically you want to provide the basis for better reading of scientific articles of interest of the profession as well as to the possible presentation of a series of simple data.
