DUTCH AND FLAMISH LITERATURE
Course objectives
Attaining a intermediate level in all linguistic abilities. Practicing comprehension and analysis of literary and non literary texts. At the end of the course the students will have acquired intermediate competences with regard to the development of the Dutch language, also in the earlier phases, and to the morphology, syntax and different varieties of the language. They will be able to interact in personal and professional linguistic situations and to comprehend and translate literary texts and audio material thanks to the practice lessons and the language training. Written essays, based on autonomous research, will be elicited on single aspects of the course. The items in the study programme will be discussed and analyzed in order to give students the basis for their autonomous study.
